November 26th-29th are the dates for this year’s OzManouche Festival at the Brisbane Jazz Club – and it’s our tenth anniversary!!
From the beginning back in 2006, when Duck Musique came from Melbourne, through to last year when Robin Nolan came from Amsterdam to hold court, we’ve been fortunate to host some of the finest Gypsy Jazz musicians on the planet, in a unique atmosphere of informal jam sessions, workshops and masterclasses, exciting and sublime concert performances and after hours fun!
Musicians of all levels come to learn, to hang out and share their ideas, while audiences come to experience the power, the romance and humanity of a style of music that speaks to the soul.
This year we have one of the most influential guitarists in history bringing his melodic and intricate interpretations of the great Django Reinhardt to our stage – the one and only Hank Marvin. Hank’s group will be playing Saturday night 28th November.
Other artists appearing – The Furbelows, Cope Street Parade, The Date Brothers, La Petite Manouche from New Zealand, Swing Dynamique, Cam Ford, Quinlan Steffen Caravan and more…
AND – Tickets are now on sale on the Brisbane Jazz Club website!!
See you there!
