The end of the year is fast approaching, but things haven’t quietened down yet!
This week we have, not one, not two, but three exciting events to choose from – depending on your location 🙂 All the details can be found below.
1. Fri 27th Nov – BEMAC presents Singout Sista: The Wish List – Voices of Scotland
BEMAC, 102 Main St, Kangaroo Point.
Join Nicole Murray, Emma Nixon, Rebecca Wright and special guests for a Scottish themed night of bonny love songs and tragic ballads, with a wee bit of dancing thrown in! The theatre will be set up with cabaret style seating so that you can take food and drink in.
Food and beverages will be available to purchase before the show and at interval. For the kitchen it’s cash only, the bar takes eftpos. The menu is:
Irish Stew and Rumpledethumps with Sourdough Bread – $10
Rumpledethumps on their own with Sourdough (vegetarian) – $6
Cornish Pasties with a sweet tomato relish- Vege and Meat/Vege – $5
2. Sun 29th Nov – Laura Street Festival, Highgate Hill – A free community street festival run by local folk. Food and drinks and other delights will available for purchase. Rebecca Wright & Donald McKay will be playing at 2:30pm, and Gone Molly will be on at 4pm, both at ‘The Corner’, 41 Prospect Tce, Highgate Hill. Full info: http://laurastreetfestival.weebly.com
3. Sat 5th Dec – Rebecca Wright & Donald McKay House Concert in Uki
Potluck Dinner at 6:30pm, music from 7:30pm. Please bring a plate of food to share. A suggested donation of $15 for the artists is appreciated. 155 Braeside Dr, Uki, NSW. RSVP: Edward – firstname.lastname@example.org
