January 17 – Rough Red Songwriters’ Circle
Happy New Year
We hope you’ve had a restful and joyous festive season.
The Folk Redlands team are excited to bring you
a vibrant year of musical events for 2016,
focussed on building community whilst supporting local and visiting performers.
We’re thrilled to have the lads from ROUGH RED kick off our 2016 program!
They’ve been described as “the quintessential macho OZ band …
riddled with enough anomalies to arouse apoplexy in a psychoanalyst” .
Their brand of folk/rock is well known at home and throughout Europe,
where they have toured many times, pioneering the way for other Australian Acts.
Celebrating their 21st anniversary, the boys who are all singer/songwriters in their own right, will be presenting songs from their respective solo albums in classic songwriters’ circle format. There’s so much talent in this band!
John Fegan, Steve Tyson, Peter Harvey, John Barr, Dave Parnell
