Only 30 sleeps till OzManouche IX – and counting!
Opening Friday night’s show is the irrepressible Klezmer/Gypsy band Greshka – ‘A torn canvas of Romanian gypsy dons a filthy smear of western metal, jazz-funk and classical-arrangement.’ Sounds like fun to me…
Following them will be Melbourne trio Catfish, featuring one of Australia’s finest young guitarists, Sam O’Halloran. ‘Expect a unique mix of swirling harmonies and ripping solos that shine a different light on the jazz manouche genre.’ That sounds like even more fun!
Next email – a rundown on Saturday night’s lineup!!
